Have you ever visited your doctor and wished he or she had more time to answer your questions?
That happened to me the day I was told, "we're going to put a pacemaker in you right away!" The cardiologist looked awfully worried.
What's a pacemaker? How does a pacemaker work? Does it hurt? Can you feel that chunk of metal inside you? Is recovery difficult? How will my life change?
I felt pretty frustrated because I had all these questions and no one to turn to in order to get my questions answered.
So I made a website about heart pacemakers.
My Heart Pacemaker Website
It seemed obvious to me that if I had questions about pacemakers then so did many folks out there too. So I created my heart pacemaker information website.
My pacemaker website has been around since 2007. Over 10 years later and it's time for a new look and feel.
I made my website user friendly for people with visual disabilities by including audio recordings on all my web pages. This also helps you speed through my pages.
Another improvement is my site is now more friendly for cell phone users. A big plus for people on the go.
I even decided to change my website domain name. My previous website was known as HealthTopics4You.info and to tell you the truth, I never liked that domain name. So now I'm known simply as My Heart Information Project or myheart.info
